Install F-droid

F-Droid is an app store for Android that contains only free and open source software. It respects user privacy, unlike Google Play. F-Droid is licensed under the AGPLv3+.

Install F-Droid

1. Use your phone's browser to visit https://f-droid.org
   
2. Download the apk. If you see a warning, tap OK.
3. Open the apk.
   1. If your browser warns that your your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source, tap Settings.
      
   2. Toggle Allow from this source, then tap the back arrow at the top left corner.
4. Tap Install at the bottom right corner.
   
5. When F-droid first loads, it will automatically update its software repositories. NOTE: This will require internet access.
   
6. Tap the search icon at the bottom right corner.
