Connecting with IRC for Android

IRC for Android is proprietary software. To protect your freedom, you should consider using an open source IRC client.

1. Tap on New Server at the bottom.
   
2. Fill in the details:
   1. Server: your bouncer server address (it should look like example.ircnow.org)
   2. Desc: the name of the network you want to connect to
   3. Port: 31337
   4. Pass: username/network:password -- for example, if your username is john, the network you want to connect to is ircnow, and your password is abcde12345, then fill in john/ircnow:abcde12345
   5. Check SSL
   6. Nick: the bouncer username you registered
   7. User: the bouncer username you registered
   8. Tap Save at the bottom.
3. Back at the app's homescreen, tap on the new server to connect.
4. If you see a message saying ZNC is not yet connected, type /znc connect -- wait a few minutes to connect.
